Stories

From David Rosenstein:

Back at the Annex, in English class with Mr.  Fogerty, we had to write a short story and give a speech.  I had some tropical fish, and had just mated Siamese Fighting Fish, also known as Beta’s.  I prepared the speech and was giving it, however John Osgood and Billy Allen were in the back row, and once they heard the topic, would yell out what they thought would be the next step in the mating process.  I kept speaking, although I couldn’t be heard with everyone laughing at John and Billy’s running commentary.  Mr. Fogerty mercifully stopped me, and suggested I pick a more suitable topic next time.
